Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the complex socio-political developments that took place in Mawarannahr and Khorasan from the late fifteenth through the sixteenth century, with particular emphasis on the rise of the Shaybanid dynasty against the backdrop of the decline of the Timurid state. Drawing on historical sources, the article systematically examines the military campaigns of Sultan Muhammad Shaybani Khan, his intense struggles with Zahir al-Din Muhammad Babur, the establishment of the Khanate of Bukhara, as well as the processes of political centralization and cultural development during the reign of Abdullah Khan II. The article is intended to serve as an in-depth academic resource for history teachers, methodologists, and students.
