The authors report that despite significant advances in colon surgery, issues of choice of method, volume, and formation of interintestinal anastomosis require further research. The authors conclude that colonoptosis in combination with chronic colostasis is accompanied by a high recurrence rate, which reaches 27.3 - 45.9%. Therefore, the search for optimal approaches that could contribute to the optimization of surgical tactics continues, since they are aimed at improving treatment results, which served as the basis for the study.
