Annotatsiya

This article examines the main difficulties encountered in teaching English to students of non-philological specialties and suggests possible solutions for improving the effectiveness of language instruction. In modern higher education, English language proficiency has become an essential requirement for students in various professional fields, including agriculture, engineering, economics, and information technology. However, students of non-philological specialties often face several challenges in language learning, such as limited vocabulary, low motivation, insufficient communicative practice, and lack of professional language materials. The study highlights that the implementation of communicative language teaching methods, task-based learning, and the integration of professional vocabulary can significantly improve students’ language skills.
