Effect of Heating Temperature on the Photoluminescent Properties of Zinc Oxide Nanostructures Synthesized in Aqueous Solutions

Annotatsiya

In this work, the effect of annealing temperature on the photoluminescence properties of zinc oxide nanostructures synthesized in aqueous solutions at low temperatures was investigated. When the ZnO nanocrystals synthesized by the chemical deposition method are annealed at 200°С for 1 hour, the concentration of defects in their crystal structure is minimal. When nanocrystals are annealed at temperatures higher than ~200°С, a new type of crystallographic defects appear in their crystal structure. The quality of crystallinity of the ZnO nanorods synthesized by the hydrothermal method increases with the annealing temperature. Their quality of crystallinity is perfect when heated at ~650°С for ~1 hour.
