This article examines the psychological role of sanogenic thinking in reducing academic stress among university students. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between sanogenic thinking and academic stress and to justify the possibilities of enhancing students’ psychological resilience through the development of sanogenic thinking. Observation, psychodiagnostic methods, correlation analysis, Student’s t-test, and SPSS 22.0 statistical software were employed. The findings revealed a positive relationship between sanogenic thinking, reflection, and emotional intelligence, while an inverse relationship was found with academic stress. Following the psycho-correctional training program, statistically significant improvements were observed in the experimental group (p<0.05). The obtained findings may serve as a scientific basis for psychological interventions aimed at preventing academic stress in higher education institutions [1; 2; 5].
