This study examines the reconstruction of communicative-pragmatic meaning in the official English translation of Uzbek presidential speeches through a comparative corpus-based approach. The analysis draws on 50 communicative-pragmatic units selected from a parallel corpus of original Uzbek speeches and their official English translations. Translation procedures, communicative-pragmatic strategies, pragmatic functions, and pragmatic equivalence are analytically distinguished. The findings demonstrate the predominance of Pragmatic Preservation, alongside Pragmatic Adaptation, Diplomatic Recontextualization, Pragmatic Intensification, and Pragmatic Condensation. On the basis of the empirical findings, the study proposes a Communicative-Pragmatic Model of Political Translation linking communicative context, pragmatic requirements, translation choices, strategic orientation, target pragmatic function, and pragmatic equivalence.
