This article examines the linguistic nature of presupposition, its classification according to nature and content, and the means of its expression in the Uzbek language. It analyzes semantic and pragmatic presuppositions as well as existential, factive, lexical, and syntactic presupposition types based on theoretical studies and linguistic data. The study also explores the lexical, morphological, and syntactic triggers of presupposition, highlighting their role in minor syntax and explaining their functional interrelations in the realization of implicit meaning.
