The article examines the structural and semantic manifestations of partial equivalence between Uzbek and English collocations and the principles of their bilingual lexicographic modelling. The data consist of aligned passages from the Uzbek Constitution and its English rendering on the official portal, the Uzbek and English versions of the President’s address to the 46th session of the UN Human Rights Council, and O‘tkir Hoshimov’s short story “The Golden Earring” translated by Sabrina Jaszi. Partial equivalence is treated as a directional relation in which the denotational core and communicative function are retained while at least one parameter-lexical selection, grammatical pattern, register, evaluative meaning or pragmatic force-changes. The analysis shows that Uzbek verbal and auxiliary-component constructions are often recast in English as predicative adjectives, nominal groups or single lexical verbs, while evaluative features may be redistributed across the wider context. A lexicographic model is proposed in which an equivalent is recorded as an integrated set of meaning, collocational choice, grammatical frame, pragmatic profile and verification evidence.
