The article examines the specific features of translating Spanish notarial and official business documents into Russian, based on the author’s translations. The study is grounded in an analysis of documents used in Spanish notarial practice, including the Libro de Familia, notarial powers of attorney, consents (Consentimiento), documents of commercial organizations, and other official documents. Particular attention is paid to the problem of rendering legal terminology, identifying functional equivalents, and selecting translation strategies, taking into account the differences between the legal systems of Spain and the Republic of Uzbekistan. Based on the analysis conducted, the most common translation difficulties are identified, and recommendations are proposed to improve the accuracy and legal equivalence of translation.
