This article provides a scientific substantiation of the role of temporal deixis in religious-educational discourse in shaping the content of religious texts, particularly in differentiating subjects, linking profane and sacred temporal dimensions, and ensuring discursive coherence. The functions of temporal deixis in religious-educational discourse are analyzed. The article examines the systemic and pragmatic functions of deictic units as means of establishing the relationship between secular time and divine-religious time.
