The article is devoted to the application of quest technology as an interactive teaching method in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL). The concepts of "quest" and types of quests are examined, along with the possibilities and advantages of using quest technology in the educational process. Special attention is given to the development of a quest excursion for foreign students, conducted on the territory of Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov. The excursion route, types of tasks, and the results of its implementation are described. The methodological potential and effectiveness of the quest as a means of forming students' linguocultural competence, developing communicative skills, and increasing motivation for learning the Russian language are substantiated.
