Annotatsiya

This article is dedicated to researching the role of Arabic loanwords in soil science terminology and their linguistic and semantic features. The article analyzes the influence of the Arabic language on the formation and development of Uzbek soil science terminology, particularly examining the etymological nature of fundamental concepts such as "tuproq" (soil), "qatlam" (layer), "muhit" (environment), "tarkib" (composition), "tasnif" (classification), and "ittihod" (union). It also illuminates the adaptation of Arabic terms, which have been in scientific use for centuries, into the Uzbek lexicon, their semantic scope within the field, and their current level of usage.
