This study explores translation processes carried out with the assistance of artificial intelligence and provides a comparative analysis of machine-generated and human-produced literary translations. Focusing on English and Uzbek languages, the research examines poetic, semantic, and pragmatic features of translated literary texts. Special attention is given to how cultural context, stylistic devices, and aesthetic expression are preserved or transformed in human translations compared to AI-generated outputs. Using a transcultural perspective, the study identifies strengths and limitations of both translation types and evaluates the role of artificial intelligence in literary translation. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the interaction between technology and human creativity in cross-cultural communication.
