Annotatsiya

The article presents a comparative analysis of the concept of “goodness” in English and Uzbek folk tales. It examines the ways in which goodness is represented, the characteristics of positive characters, and their connection to cultural and moral values. Special attention is given to the similarities and differences in the interpretation of the concept of goodness in the two folklore traditions. The study reveals that the concept of goodness is universal in nature, but its manifestation is influenced by national and cultural characteristics.
