This article examines the significance of feedback in enhancing students’ academic writing competence. It explores how different types of feedback, such as teacher feedback, peer review, and self-reflection, contribute to the improvement of coherence, accuracy, and critical thinking in students’ written work. The study emphasizes the pedagogical value of timely and constructive feedback in developing writing strategies, fostering learner autonomy, and raising overall academic performance. The findings highlight that systematic feedback practices are essential for improving the quality of academic writing in higher education.
