It is well known that the role of phraseological units in enhancing the emotional and expressive qualities of language is significant. Analyzing these units from a linguistic perspective, particularly by addressing the issues of their representation in bilingual dictionaries, remains one of the unresolved tasks in modern lexicography. The reason is that problematic situations directly related to this field are evident in the translation of phraseological units in bilingual dictionaries, particularly with regard to equivalence. Addressing these issues requires a systematic study of phraseological units in bilingual dictionaries.
