This study presents a linguocultural and pragmatic analysis of speech formulas in business communication in English and Uzbek. Applying social role theory, speech act theory, and Grice's cooperative principle, it explores how culturally coded expressions regulate professional interactions, maintain politeness, and reflect social norms. Results indicate notable contrasts between English and Uzbek formulas, highlighting individualistic versus collectivist communication patterns. The findings offer insights for enhancing cross-cultural business communication.
