This study analyzes the implementation of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) programs in Uzbekistan's universities. Despite policy support, implementation remains superficial due to a shortage of trained instructors, non-contextualized materials, and weak inter-departmental collaboration. The paper proposes a national framework for sustainable ESP development aimed at aligning education with international standards and labor market needs, thereby enhancing graduates' professional communication skills.
