This article analyzes the role of American science fiction in the artistic expression of universal problems important to humanity. Throughout the 20th-21st centuries, science fiction has sought to illuminate the main factors influencing technological progress, the information revolution, and the fate of humanity through unique artistic means. The works of renowned authors such as Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, and Ursula Le Guin extensively cover topics including confidence and anxiety about technology, social control, personal freedom, environmental issues, and ethical dilemmas. The article demonstrates the role of artistic devices such as symbolism, metaphor, and myth in the science fiction genre, revealing the complex relationship between humans and technology through these means. These works have served to express concerns present in modern culture and perspectives on the future.
