This article analyzes speech symptoms in motor alalia and aspects of its phonetic-phonemic and lexical-grammatical underdevelopment. In alalia, speech defects assume a systemic nature, leading to profound disturbances in the sound system, vocabulary, grammatical structure, coherent speech, and communicative activity. Children with motor alalia exhibit deficits in sequential sound perception, paraphasias, perseverations, agrammatism, diffuse phonemic representations, and disharmony between inner and outer speech. Studies indicate that while passive vocabulary is relatively extensive, active vocabulary is severely limited, and comprehension and use of grammatical constructions are challenging. Furthermore, in alalia, the development of contextual and monologue speech is delayed, logical consistency is impaired, and the ability to use semantic equivalents is restricted.
