This article analyzes methods for developing critical thinking, which is essential for objectively analyzing information, distinguishing between facts and value judgments, and making logically sound decisions. The importance of critical thinking in the education system, scientific and professional activities is emphasized, along with its role in fostering independent thinking, stimulating innovation, and strengthening civic consciousness. Various methods for developing this skill are examined: problem-solving, questioning techniques, debates, case studies, critical reading and writing, the use of digital tools, and reflection. Special attention is given to the role of educators, family, and the educational environment in providing conditions for the formation and reinforcement of critical thinking. The article concludes that critical thinking is not an innate quality but is developed through systematic practice, self-education, and social interaction. Its cultivation contributes to both individual personal growth and the progress of society as a whole.
