Today, the issue of creating an educational explanatory dictionary of antonyms and its development is becoming increasingly relevant. This is due to the fact that educational explanatory dictionaries of Uzbek language antonyms, which consider the nature of speech and age-specific characteristics of schoolchildren and preschool-aged children, have not been adequately studied in linguistics until now. The speech of children and students develops on a linguocognitive basis. The creation of educational dictionaries of antonyms demonstrates the urgency of addressing this issue.
