This article analyzes the legal framework for combating climate change in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the country’s international obligations in this field. It examines national environmental legislation, as well as Uzbekistan’s commitments under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Kyoto Protocol, and the Paris Agreement. The study identifies existing legal challenges and proposes recommendations for improving national legislation in accordance with international standards.
