The article analyzes the methodology for adapting the Response to Intervention (RTI) approach, developed within the school education system of the United States, to the conditions of higher pedagogical education in Uzbekistan. Improving the diagnostic and remedial training of future teachers in modern higher pedagogical education is a pressing issue, which necessitates the creative adaptation of globally tested educational practices to the national context. The study examines the essence of RTI as a multi-tiered support system, its diagnostic and remedial components, and the possibilities for its transformation within the national educational context. The primary scientific problem of the research is to identify the methodological foundations for adapting an approach created for school education to the conditions of higher pedagogical education while preserving its core principles. The results of the study can be used to improve curricula and methodological support in higher pedagogical educational institutions and to enrich the diagnostic and remedial training of future teachers with international experience.
