In the modern nursing education system, simulation-based education is considered one of the priority innovative technologies. According to the results of monitoring the development of simulation-based education in medical educational institutions of the Russian Federation, many institutions have equipped simulation centers or specialized training rooms to varying degrees. In recent years, there has been rapid development of simulation infrastructure, an increase in the types of simulators being used, and an expansion of simulation-based teaching methods.
