This article analyzes the historical formation, migration processes, and ethnocultural characteristics of the Uyghur people living in the Fergana Valley. The study examines the reasons for the migration of Uyghurs from Eastern Turkestan to the Fergana Valley, their settlement patterns, and their interactions with the local population. It also highlights distinctive features of their traditional way of life, material and spiritual culture, as well as contemporary ethnic processes. The article is based on historical and ethnographic sources and is of significant importance for the study of interethnic relations and cultural integration. Particular attention is paid to the specific territorial distribution of the Uyghur diaspora. Furthermore, the study considers ongoing ethnocultural transformations, issues of national identity, and challenges related to the preservation of cultural heritage in the modern era.
