This article examines the effectiveness of teaching infectious diseases using the cluster method in higher medical education institutions. The study investigated the impact of the educational process, organized based on the cluster approach, on students' knowledge levels, clinical reasoning abilities, and independent analysis skills. A comparative analysis was also conducted between the results of applying the cluster method and those of traditional teaching methods. The findings indicated that the cluster method is effective in increasing student engagement in the educational process, promoting the systematic acquisition of knowledge, and developing practical competencies. The article substantiates the didactic potential of this method and the prospects for its implementation in medical education.
