This article discusses the methodology for teaching the topic of triangles in the geometry course for grades 7–9. During the study, the use of modern pedagogical approaches in teaching key concepts such as the classification of triangles, congruence, similarity, and the sum of interior angles was analyzed. The article also demonstrates the importance of interactive methods, visual aids, the GeoGebra program, and practical exercises in improving the effectiveness of education. As a result of the study, it was substantiated that ensuring the integration of theory and practice in teaching the topic of triangles contributes to the development of students’ geometric thinking, logical reasoning, and independent learning skills.
