This article examines the significance of instructional models in developing students’ motivation in English language learning. Instructional models are considered an effective pedagogical tool for enhancing learners’ cognitive engagement, increasing their interest in language acquisition, and fostering communicative competence. The study explores the theoretical and practical aspects of the influence of instructional models designed on the basis of modern educational technologies on both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Particular attention is paid to authentic learning tasks and real-life learning scenarios that promote autonomous learning skills, critical thinking, and the practical application of language knowledge. The findings indicate that the purposeful integration of instructional models into the teaching process contributes to greater effectiveness in English language education and supports the development of sustainable learning motivation among students.
