This article analyzes the role of game-based educational technologies in developing mathematical literacy, as well as the didactic potential of the “Mathematical Football” method. The study highlights the development of students’ logical thinking, problem-solving, rapid calculation, and teamwork skills through the use of football game elements in mathematics lessons. The article also substantiates the compatibility of this method with the requirements of the PISA international assessment program. The results of the study demonstrate the importance of the “Mathematical Football” method in increasing students’ engagement, developing mathematical literacy, and ensuring the effectiveness of education.
