This article analyzes the dynamics of women’s participation in political decision-making processes in Uzbekistan and institutional reforms in this sphere. Following the parliamentary elections held in October 2024, the share of women in the Legislative Chamber reached 39.19 percent. Uzbekistan climbed 92 positions in the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) ranking, taking 36th place. In the “Gender Equality and Governance” index, the country rose from 103rd to 52nd place, and in the World Bank’s “Women, Business and the Law” index, it improved by 43 positions, taking 48th place. The number of women entrepreneurs has reached 230,000, and more than 6,000 women scientists are active in science. The article also presents measures implemented within the framework of the “Uzbekistan–2030” Strategy and provides a comparative analysis with international experience.
