The article analyzes the institutional mechanisms ensuring women’s participation in political decision-making processes. The experience of Uzbekistan and international experience (UNESCO, UN CEDAW) are compared. Based on 2024–2025 statistical data, the conditions for the effectiveness of gender equality policy are identified. The quota mechanism in legislation, the monitoring system, and institutional barriers are analyzed.
