The article examines the essence of dual education and its significance within the higher education system. It analyzes scholarly approaches to the development of professional competencies in the context of dual learning. Particular attention is paid to the expansion of dual education within the educational policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Based on a review of relevant academic sources, the study formulates well-grounded conclusions.
