This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the issue of domestic violence in the Republic of Uzbekistan, examining its socioeconomic and psychological roots and evaluating the effectiveness of the current legal framework. The research covers recent legal and regulatory acts, particularly the Law "On the Protection of Women from Harassment and Violence" and its practical implementation. Based on statistical data, international experience, and reports from local NGOs, the article proposes a set of comprehensive measures to address the problem.
