This article examines corruption prevention as a key element in countering organized crime. It analyzes the interrelationship between corrupt practices and the functioning of organized criminal groups, as well as the legal and institutional mechanisms aimed at preventing corruption. The study substantiates that corruption acts as a system-forming factor ensuring the stability, adaptability, and concealment of organized crime. It is argued that, without effective anti-corruption prevention measures, efforts to combat organized crime remain insufficient. The article concludes that strengthening preventive mechanisms, eliminating the root causes and conditions of corruption, and improving transparency and accountability in public administration are essential for enhancing the effectiveness of efforts to combat organized crime.
