Amid global climate change and resource scarcity, the financial sector plays a pivotal role in sustainable development. Green fintech helps to channel financial resources toward environmentally friendly projects and to mitigate greenwashing and deficiencies within auditing systems. The article also discusses real-time waste monitoring using artificial intelligence and IoT, the formation of ESG ratings, and the alignment of bank loans with environmental performance indicators.
