This article examines the importance of personal data protection in ensuring consumer rights in the digital economy. The rapid development of digital technologies, online platforms, and electronic services has significantly increased the volume of personal data processing. In this context, ensuring the confidentiality and security of personal information becomes an essential element of consumer protection in the digital environment. The article analyzes foreign legal approaches to regulating personal data protection, particularly the legislation of the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom. Based on a comparative analysis, recommendations are proposed for improving the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of personal data protection and consumer protection.
