The article analyzes the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan within the framework of the Strategy for Achieving Gender Equality aimed at ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men in the new era of reforms. The strategy outlines key objectives for the activities of state institutions for the period 2021–2030, including increasing women’s participation in management, reducing gender imbalance, expanding educational opportunities, and combating violence and oppression against women. The topic is examined on the basis of international documents addressing social issues related to the empowerment of women, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Uzbekistan’s national sustainable development goals for 2030, as well as legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, legal documents on ensuring gender balance, archival collections, and materials from current archives of non-governmental organizations protecting women’s interests.
