In the context of global digitalization, web development has transformed from an auxiliary business tool into a core asset, the value of which often exceeds that of companies' tangible assets. This report presents a fundamental study of the legal regimes for protecting intellectual property rights related to websites, software, and digital content, comparing the emerging legal system of the Republic of Uzbekistan with established doctrines of the European Union and the United States of America. The work strictly adheres to the IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) structure and aims to identify the effectiveness of jurisdictional (judicial, administrative) and non-jurisdictional (arbitration, technical, contractual) mechanisms. The study centers on the analysis of Uzbekistan's latest legislation, particularly Law No. ZRU-1003 of 2024, in comparison with landmark court decisions from the EU (Infopaq) and the USA (Specht), as well as directives of the European Parliament.
