This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of using virtual and digital technologies in the modern educational process. In particular, the didactic potential of computer technologies, interactive learning tools, virtual laboratories, and smart educational devices in organizing lessons is revealed. The study substantiates ways to improve the quality of education based on digital technologies, enhance students’ cognitive activity, and develop their independent learning competencies.
