The article examines the issue of sexual harassment in Uzbekistan in the context of a growing number of reported cases and international approaches to combating such offenses. A comparative analysis of legislation from several countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and CIS states, is provided. Particular attention is paid to gaps in the national legal framework and shortcomings in law enforcement practices. The author proposes comprehensive measures to improve legislation, including clarifying legal definitions, introducing a separate provision in the Criminal Code, establishing offender registration mechanisms, implementing preventive programs, and strengthening psychological and legal assistance for victims. The material emphasizes the need for political will, institutional reforms, and broad public support to establish zero tolerance toward sexual harassment.
