This article discusses current issues of harmonization of national legislation in the field of external labor migration. Additional measures to improve labor migration processes and support people engaged in temporary work abroad are disclosed. The national regulatory legal acts affecting the labor rights of migrants are considered. The process of maintaining a system of safe, orderly and legal external labor migration has been studied.
