Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the current issues of developing the communicative competence of future engineers studying in technical higher education institutions. The advantages and disadvantages of existing pedagogical technologies are examined, and a comprehensive approach aimed at overcoming them is proposed. The article develops a new technology based on the principles of specificity, authenticity, collaboration, digital enablement, and continuous assessment, as well as a six-component model that includes technical language and discourse, interpersonal communication, professional writing, oral presentation, and cultural and ethical competencies. To implement this model in practice, the "Communicative Project-Based Learning" (CPBL) methodology and its practical illustration are presented.
