The article examines the system covering crime prevention, namely crimes related to family (domestic) violence, i.e. objects of prevention, subjects of prevention and measures to prevent crime. It also examines the need to take legal measures, social measures and organizational measures to prevent victims of family (domestic) violence, as well as the experience of foreign countries in this regard in their legislation. In conclusion, it is proposed to establish criminal liability for repeated violation of the failure to comply with the requirements of a protective order by a person who has committed harassment and (or) violence or is prone to committing them, as another important area of prevention of family (domestic) violence.
