This article provides an in-depth analysis of the institution of inheritance of absolute rights in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study highlights the role, legal foundations, and significance of this institution within the civil law system. Additionally, the characteristics associated with the transfer of property rights to intellectual property inherited through testamentary disposition have been thoroughly examined. The author, drawing upon the Civil Code of Uzbekistan and other regulatory legal acts, illustrates the current state of affairs in this domain. Concurrently, the article identifies gaps and inconsistencies in existing legislation, particularly issues arising in the inheritance of digital assets (cryptocurrencies, NFTs) and intellectual property rights. According to the research findings, the institution of inheritance of absolute rights plays a crucial role in safeguarding the inviolability of property rights, ensuring economic stability, and maintaining continuity between generations. The article concludes by offering proposals for improving legislation based on international standards, making this research potentially valuable for field specialists, legal professionals, and students.
