This article analyzes the changes and reforms that occurred in the madrasa education system in Samarkand between 1917 and 1921. The article discusses the attitude towards the activities of madrasas during the establishment of Soviet power political measures aimed at restricting religious education and their impact on the educational process.Also the relationship between madrasa domlas and jadid intellectuals during thisperiod the opening of newstyle schools and the decline and resistance that arose in religious education are analyzed on a scientific basis.
