The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the legal foundations of trade union activities in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the procedures for their establishment and functioning. It is established that trade unions are public associations aimed at protecting the social and economic interests of citizens. The paper examines the specifics of forming trade unions as legal entities, the procedure for their state registration, and the requirements regarding founding documents and the number of members. Based on the opinions of legal scholars and the analysis of national and international legal norms, the key rights and obligations of trade unions are revealed. Special attention is given to youth unemployment, challenges of the modern labor market, the specifics of interaction with state authorities, and mechanisms of collective legal protection. The article concludes with concrete proposals and recommendations aimed at strengthening the institutional status of trade unions, enhancing their authority, and improving their effectiveness in the socio-labor sphere.
