The article analyzes the legal foundations of trade union activities in Uzbekistan. Based on currentlegislation and international standards, their organizational and legal status, as well as their role insociety, are examined. The significance of trade unions in protecting socio-economic rights isemphasized, and proposals for improving the legal framework are presented. Practicalrecommendations for enhancing the authority and effectiveness of trade unions are also provided.
