The article deals with the issues of improving the activities of trade unions. These results were obtained as part of a doctoral dissertation (PhD). The author develops proposals to improve the regulatory framework, in particular, proposals are put forward to supplement the principles, reduce the number of members to a thousand people when registering non-profit organizations by a state body, to prohibit control by the registering authority, improve the qualifications of inspectors, use the institution of mediation when considering labor disputes.
