The article examines the role of the Great Silk Road in the establishment, development, and maintenance of interethnic and intercultural ties with other peoples in the context of trade and economic relations. Spanning almost the entire Eurasian continent, the Great Silk Road has served for many centuries to bring different peoples closer together, facilitating the exchange of ideas, knowledge, languages, and cultures. Century after century, the spirit of interethnic dialogue has been preserved, contributing to the peaceful development of human civilization and creating optimal conditions for trade and cultural exchange. This route played a monumental role in bringing two continents (namely, the East and the West) closer together, fostering mutual and cultural enrichment among many European and Asian peoples. This article attempts to reveal the role of the Great Silk Road as the primary and significant trans-European artery that contributed to the enhancement of cultural ties over many years.
